Executive Sales Representative |

This is a multidisciplinary sales position based in Detroit Michigan, linking construction professionals to their industry sales revenue. This position would allow you the chance to have a direct impact on the success that construction firms achieve.
Job Responsibilities Include:
The goal of this position is to develop and expand markets for project news within the Detroit Michigan area. This requires technical knowledge of the various products and processes as well as staying abreast of new developments. In addition to knowledge, it is very important that this information be transmitted in a manner that will be considered and accepted. Thus personal relationship skills are paramount to success. Development of contacts within construction industry, governmental agencies, consultants and the engineering community are key factors for a long-term program. This position works in close consort with and reports directly to the CEO.
• Create, develop and maintain a customer base in the Detroit area, for CNS products and services.
• Provide Aggressive business to business sales for project news.
• Prepare service estimates to contractors and industry professionals.
• Meet with Executive Professionals, attend industry related functions and events and become intimately involved in the professional world of the construction industry, while taking an active leadership role in the industry.
• Provide input to Project Managers & Estimators on the degree of success associated with the value and benefits from our products.
• Keeps abreast of the latest technology to advance promotional activities, such as use of PowerPoint, website development, etc.
• Assists the Executive Director in serving as liaison to National and Local affiliates and committees.
• Promotes interest and active participation in Trade Related Associations.
• Maintains effective relationships with other organizations, both public and private.
• Develops and execute CNS promotional plans and strategies, goals, projects and programs for approval by the Executive Director.
Position Qualifications:
- • Degree in sales or business.
• Five + years experience in sales, construction or subscription based sales preferred.
• Highly organized and detail oriented. Able to prioritize and multitask effectively;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to convey technical concepts in a concise manner to customers, sub contractors, co workers and executive management;
• Strong understanding of computer technology and other related internet features.
• Fluent in MSWord, Excel and MS Project;
• Confident, assured and easy going style and able to manage to both timeline and profitability requirements;
